MPC1K/Reason???

I just bought Reason 2.0 and I am really looking forward to using it with my MPC1K. I have installed Reason 2.0 and the latest update. NOW, I want to know exactly how do I sync my MPC1K with Reason 2.0, so that I can use it as a sound module??? I hope I am clear enough...PLEASE HELP ME, I am very fustrated.

The MPC along side with Reason is like bread with butter...

There is still one little problem. I only have a USB cable and I don't have a MIDI cable. There has to be some way I can still use Reason along with my MPC without the MIDI cable.

no there is not. u need to go and get a midi interfrace for ur pc, then u just set up the mpc to control reason.

yeah you should get a MIDI to USB converter or (like I did) just get the MIDI to USB cable its a lot cheaper but not as quality

There must be a way. How about the people that have USB keyboards how would they use Reason.

MIDI goes into the MPC, USB into the PC. AND IT WILL WORK???

genuis thouse USB keybaords are sending midi cause that is how the interfrace is. A midi to usb cable might work but i would just buy a midiman 1x1 interfrace and get a midicable for under $35.

a MIDI to USB cable should work.
If someone has done this let me know. I don't want to buy it and it won't work.
