Ok, short Bob Moog story. When he was taking the Voyager around to different stores to showcase rogue music had it in the small club at the street level. we got to play it, ask him questions, and listen to him talk a bit about it and about the history. When I went up to the Voyager, I imediately sent to town on the oscillators, engaging sync, envelope modulation, and the touch pad was routed to the filters, Bob was answering someone's questions when he turned and started trying to follow what I had done, he seemed a bit stumped and then realized that the switches were largely to blame. I liked that it took him a minute to figure out what I was up to, as it was more of a modular sound than a typical mini sound, and these were early units, the ones that you couldn;t tweak presets on yet because of early software, and I think he was worried something my have gone wrong
Later on he was explaining the touch pad and a kid about 18 said "like the Kaoss Pad."
To which Bob Said " no They Kaoss Pad is like
this, I've been playing with these things since the seventies"
Such a Chill guy, and its always cool to hear a physicist say ****
