Achieving the Note off function for a sample on the 1000

I used to have a 2000 XL and when I'd loop a sample it would only play when for as long as I pushed the pad..of course you can also do this in the program screen but selecting the "note off" section..

I am having trouble doing this with my 1000..is this possible.. Thanks in Advance..

in the main window mark the program that contains the samlpe
enter the program mode by
hittng the window key, select samplepage and then hit windows key again.
now you can select note on or oneshot
this manoever is also described on page 59 in your manual
