Customizing your MPC? Here a suggestion...

I found THIS GUY'S methods for putting the lettering back on a metal surface. The one at the bottom called Method 3 seems very cool and you could even customise with your own fonts and other embelishments.
He used a program for windoze called Frontdesigner that I have never heard of but seems to be used in the build-it-yourself world.

Just a suggestion, I haven't tried it myself but I have always wanted to chrome my mpc and make the lettering bigger. Because apparently I am insane and spend too much time looking at the thing during uhmmm down time, yeah thats what I'll call it, down time (420).

That's a good find.He even explains it well and everything.I'm going to look into it some more and maybe do mine because it's alot cheaper than some of the other alternatives.

So did anyone try this and get good results? It sound s all good, ot sure about the oven bit though..? Do you think a hairdryer may be a good idea as well. I thought about trying it on the side first as an experiment before painting . Main concern is trying to make it blend in and look natural

Trust me it's a very tricky job, I've tried the lasertran inkjet method.
The results have been OK but not good enough.

I think it's better to use the lazer paper and oven bake idea, thats what i'm going to be trying next.
