First off, thanks for looking at this thread. But i need some help... I got a MPC 1000 and a Roland Juno 1. ( yeah i know it's kinda old but whatever works right? ) I'm trying to use the sound from my Juno to make a bassline. I got the Juno midi out -> MPC midi in. MPC midi out -> Juno Midi in. Both are hooked up to my mixer.

The part that i don't get is, when i try to make a bass line and release the keys from my keyboard, the sample would cut off. ( the sample is chopped up so it's not a long sample ) The only time it doesn't do that is when i use solo to record the bassline. But then i can't hear the sample and it would sound off.

Is there anyway to get around that? Thanks again.

"I'm trying to use the sound from my Juno to make a bassline"

"the sample is chopped up so it's not a long sample "

So which are you doing? Are you using the sound from the Juno by midi or a sample in the MPC?

Or are you using a SAMPLE from the Juno?
