If you've used other sequencers besides the 1k, even any of the older MPC's you probably would have noticed that the swing feature is a lot better and a lot more useful on them.
Have you noticed that if you put the swing say above 60% and use note repeat on hi hats it sounds like a horses gallop? I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I find that horses gallop VERY annoying. It makes Note Repeat and Swing not very useful at all to me. I only see it useful if your doing horse sound effects for a western. The other MPC's DO NOT have that gallop. Their swing is a lot better and a lot more useful.
If JJ could improve the swing on the 1k to be like the older MPC's I would be very happy, cause the swing on the 1k is fukked....regardless if all of us can work around it to make beats without timing issues. I'd like to see this improved vastly.
