Which are the best rechargables batteries brand for your 500

which one do you use with your 500 ?

I use Energizer Nimh 2500Mah in my MPC500. Got them at Target for $9.99 per 4 pack of AA's. I also got the 15min charger with it. Cant remember how much that was though. It came with 4 AA's which was cool. I can usually get about 4 - 5 hours of use from them.

i got the energizer 2500mah batteries for about 2 years now. i use them for my circuit-bent roland tr-626.
they don't hold a charge as good as they used to.
infact, i got them on the 8 hour charger as i'm typing this.
i really should've got the 15 minute charger so i don't have to wait so damn long, let alone jackin' up my electric bill.
electric aint cheap out here.
i need to step up to the 2900mah they got on that site eventually.

The 15min charger rocks! Not much wait time. Im Gonna buy another set whenever I see a good deal. I'll let the fam know if I see one.

You prollyalready know this but I'll say it anyway, the more instances of recharge the lesser charge the battery can hold. You won't notice the lesser charge hold for a long time though. I'd suggest using the battery down to maybe near death, maybe 10% of it's power, THEN fully recharge it. Don't just use it a few minutes and recharge, your actually shortening it's life cycle when you do that. Use it until it's almost dead, THEN recharge. Your batteries will love you for it.

I'm thinking about getting some more GP powebank batteries (2700mAh).

I already have a charger and 4 batteries (2 of which I use in my camera) so if I get 4 more batteries, I'd have 6 for my MPC.

It's a shame my charger can only charge 4 batteries at time.
