Ok, yesterday I was rehearsing with my band using the MPC1000as a Sequencer. When I finished rehearsing I went to save the Prject file with the changes that we did on rehearsal.

I went to the save page>I choose to save a Project>I inputed the Name for the file> pressed DO IT> The MPC started saving but at the end of the process i got an error screen saying DIRECTORY ERROR> I tried saving again but the MPC froze on me> I switched the MPC off> Then, when I switched it back on, the project file where everything was saved dissapeared.> I lost all my freaking work.

Anybody with the same problem???

hmmm... sometimes when I save my Program, some of the information is not saved. Ex: when i try to Load the same Program, some pads are empty, and when I saved the Program, there were samples assigned to those pads. I dosn't happen offten, but I does. Anyone has experienced it?

DANNYMON: If you havn't done it yet, you should update your OS to v1.02. Suposely it solves some freezing problems.

Make sure if you change your program and then save again that you have overwrite existing files turned on. Plenty of times i have thought things were bugs that turned out to be my own stupid fault!

I already updated to the latest OS 1.02. I even tought that was the reason for the the freeze.

Yesterday I checked the memory card in my PC and I noticed something weird. I appears like when i got the "DIRECTORY ERROR" message, all of my program/Project/All files got duplicated. the samples that were assigned to those programs got erased. And one of the samples was a Piano with a 1/16 delay effect, somehow was converted into a 1/4 delay with the same pitch. This is the weirdest thing ever.
