16 levels tuning?

What is it? How can i do it with reason/soundforge/flstudio?

Its pretty cool, you can put a sample on a pad and select 16 level tuning and it will put the sample on each pad but a tone higher. not sure what the intervals are. and i have no idea what you are talking about with reason/soundforge/flstudio

I know I use reason some times and i don't think it has 16 levels like the mpc has. You just click on the sound that you want to use and the midi board plays the sample at diferent levels and you can also adjust your octave control.

I didnt even realize u were talkin about the 16 levels, shuold read that part of the manual.. in fact its INDISPENSIBLE if u want to make a beat.

16 level is the way mpcs emulate the work of a keyboard... each note has a pitch on a piano right?.. same thing on the MP :

(higher/louder/longer)

There ya go.. when u enable that function... u can do it for Velocity (loudness), for Pitch (note) or for length.. (attack and decay)... u can vary up ur sounds that way...

Oh and by the way the intervale between the notes is the same as on a keyboard... 1/2 tone per key.. and u set the middle key where u want it
