Hi, I got the 2000 Classic and hooked it up with an EZ Drive from SyQuest. But when I try to choose it in the disk menu (no matter if I want load, save or format the disk) there is just the "wait......." comand on the display and the 2000 freeze. I tried with different SCSI IDs, with Terminator and without, different cables and EZ Disks. My last thought: SCSI Fuse is blown. So how could I find out if it is blown? And how does this piece look like (maybe someone have a photo). I have solder experience and would try to solder in a new one if this type of fuse is a common electronic part.
thank you
Oh and am I right that the MPC should recognize (and display) the SCSI Device while try booting without a floppy inserted? (dont want to wait for the complete booting)
peace
