MAYDAY: How To Save A Program As A Default?

Good day all,

I've had this problem for ages and I've had enough of it... over the years I've searched the manual, this site and the net, but nothing!

I'm using the 2000XL and everytime I switch it on I have to reprogram the pads to play in a scale like order (Pad: 1-16 = Note: 35-50 and so on...) or load a pre-saved program and go form there. The latter works fine, but it gets abit much when you have to load the program from a disk every single time as opposed to just switching on and getting on with it.

So how can we save a program as a default so that everything's in place after the MPC(2000XL) is switched on?

Respect Lampdog, Don Blake just holla'd as well and basically said the samething you said. Funny thing is I did the autoload thing by mistake earlier but wasn't sure what I did until I heard from you both. Well, on the bright side it's still a few seconds quicker with the autoload and i don't have to do anything!
