whats up?
ive got an mpc 2000 which i love. ive been sampling and making beats that way for a bit now and i know the machine pretty well.
ive decided to get a keyboard (motif 6) to try something new and to have more sounds easily available.
here is my issue...i dont know if i like the midi way of doing things with the MPC. ultimately, i feel like i dont have control over the sounds like i did if i just have them saved on a pad from a sample. i like the ease of copying a sound, adjusting the delay/attack, and messing with the other little adjustments that the MPC has.
my question is... can these functions still be used if i was using midi sounds from the motif?? or are they useless at that point?
