problem with pads.. different sound every 8. hit

I just recorded a kick and a snare and every 8. time i hit a pad (any pad)it give different sound... like 7 normal and 1 up pitched, 7 normal, 1 up pitched ++++

can someone please help me?

hmm, not sure bout this one. reset the mpc and try again. i think there is a pad diagnostic you can run... check out www.midicase.com

have restart... record some new shit, but still got same problem..

thats strange, are you sure the there isnt a velocity modulation on the pad or does it happen on all of them?. make sure you are not loading a pgm on bootup.

Was this ever resolved...If anyone knows how this can be avoided, please share....I'm having a similar issue with my 2500...my pad is triggering surrounding pads after so many hits...driving me crazy...regardless of which pad i hit...

ANDINO - i will give u info if i fix it...

it looks to me like your just letting the release of the sample play out on the 8th hit at louder velocity, i cant hear any pitch differences.. the reason the other 7 sound different is cause u keep re-triggering them at a different spot.

i' ve got the same problem, but is connected with frequency. i don't know what to do :/
