you *can* simultaneously send separate tracks to accomplish both with just the MPC... have drums playing as well as multiple tracks sending different midi data as well... the MPC is one of the best MIDI sequencers out there... i don't see why you need a separate piece of gear to do something you already can [and even better than that QY20]. am i missing something here??

Ive never messed with midi before. Didnt know this was possible. Thanks a million

whaaat?! dude, don't sleep... the MPC originally stood for "MIDI PRODUCTION CENTER" in the first place... just switch your track from Drum to MIDI and set the proper MIDI channel/output and you're good to go... :mrgreen:
