Hi there,
Earlier today I bought a zed 24 mixer and so far I really like it.
Up until now I´ve been mixin all my beats in my mpc2500, and recorded them through the stereo out to a boss digital recorder. I realized earlier today that none of the effects in the mpc work when I use the 8 outs from the sampler to the mixer. I want to buy a decent rack-compressor and a reverb that i could link up to the mixer eventually. But for now I´ve been trying to link up the mixer with the computer through the usb connection to possibly use some vst¨s. Is there any way of doing this so I could just run the signal through the computer and back to the mixer without recording anything in the daw. So far I´ve only managed to apply effects if I record channel by channel to the computer. Cause I would like to do most of the work on the mpc and the mixer and probably just record the stereomix to the daw when I´m finished. I just don´t cope very well with computers when I´m making music.
I´m sorry if this has been covered before.
Any help would be much appreciated
