How many of you use Maschine?

It is what it is......its very easy to determine you are a Maschine user by your comments in these forums. But you are secretly waiting to ditch it for the MPC Studio.

I got Maschine recently and think it is really good. I am probably quicker getting to grips with it due to using an MPC 1000 first. Tutorials would be a good idea.

I sold my joint, I didn't fall in Love with it like I did my MPC when I first got, I never really like the patterens, and scene setup, but over all it was nice, def made me better as far as making beats on a computer. But I can't wait to see this new MPC controller and get my hands on it. I wish they they would of did it 10 years but, they were thinking backwards. But seeing as tho they had this shit down pat with their MPC series, (except the 5k) I expect them to have gotten everything right with their hardware software version. NI brought it to the fore front, buy they missed so many critical features, hopefully AKAI didn't, and this thing is the real deal.

i had maschine for a few months and got noooooowhere. i sold it and got a 2500.

i use it. I dont have the same love for it as i do my mpc, but its nice. I'm looking forward to the new mpc as I'm hoping it combines the things i like about mashine but in mpc format.

maybe just start out basic and just offer your kits in maschine format and see the response...

I own a maschine. Make the tutorials and keep em low priced and well thought out.
Somebody said something about doing it from an mpc point of view.
I agree. Lets get some sampling and chopping along with basic beat making first.

I use Maschine in a clever way, I wire it's controller in the software to allow the note repeat to controller other 3rd party plugins and hardware. I'm hoping this new MPC Ren will eliminate this workaround.

Tutor, I personally wouldn't need the tutorials, but NI's forum and Saintjoe's Facebook Maschine page show there's new users daily. I'm sure there's a healthy market there for you as a lot of the new Maschine users seem new to digital music in general.

I own an mpc 1000 and a 3000 I choose maschine over them... If you know how to use an mpc you shouldn't have trouble working on maschine.

I like maschine because of speed....my sampling techniques and processing is still the same

Record - preamp- eq then Mpc (or in this case maschine)

I'd like to see some tutorials. I don't own a Maschine, but if Akai doesn't give the Renaissance a realistic affordable price, Native Instruments might be getting my money! HAHA!

I use it and think it is OK but it has some things I don't like about it and issues I won't go into depth about on this forum. Plus, I don't think it flows nearly as well as using my 5000. It could be due to the fact that I have been running the MPC format since the earliest of days and I am now so used to it, it is ingrained in me. I will never really feel comfortable using anything else to write tunes with other than an MPC sequencer. Nothing will EVER beat the MPC sequencer.
I have been patterned based since my Oberheim DSX sequencer days back in 1984 and then the onto the moved onto the early MPC's. I just can't go back to any other way of writing...its like trying drive with one eye every time I set out to used a new compositional tool....I give up and always go back to the MPC..when they say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, I think they have point when it comes to me and new gear

mpc-tutor can teach an old dogg anything!
