I have been patterned based since my Oberheim DSX sequencer days back in 1984 and then the onto the moved onto the early MPC's. I just can't go back to any other way of writing...its like trying drive with one eye every time I set out to used a new compositional tool....I give up and always go back to the MPC..when they say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, I think they have point when it comes to me and new gear
