Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the SE-1 or SE-1X by Studio Electronics?
My question pertains to the MIDI implementation; I was wondering if it is possible to use multiple MIDI channels the way you can with a keyboard workstation like the Yamaha Motif series?
For example, I would like to have one MIDI channel be the bass tone, and a second as a lead tone, etc.
Now, I know the SE-1/X is monophonic, so I'm wondering if that means it can only transmit one sound at a time? I really would like to be able to transmit several sounds, having each one mapped to a different MIDI channel and all playing back at the same time with my MPC sequence.
If this is possible or not, let me know.
