get a seccondhand cheap dj turntable, better if its direct drive rather than belt drive but its not a deal breaker for sampling
dj turntables have replaceable headshells, pitch control, and many (apart from the technics)have 78rpm. some even play backwards.(numark, stanton etc)
look at local pawn shops, second hand shops etc, ebay. you should be able to get a basic dj turntable for very little. on ebay you'll probably pay more for postage than for the turntable itself.
if you want to buy new then lots of people are perfectly happy with the vestax handytrax and the numark pt-01(?) portable turntables.
