I need your insight on this, I'm always wondering as technology becomes more sophisticated and less expensive to produce are we to expect LOWER prices?
a good example is the mpc3000, the only reason it cost alot more than the mpc2000 is because it uses a much older technology, which costs more to produce, i was shocked when roger linn sent me back an e-mail telling about the reason behind the gap cost.
I think akai is overcharging with the 4000!
Roland has failed to compete with the mv-8000, but i bet you if Korg gets
in this fight, it will do very well, cuz Korg is highly regarded in the hip hop production community, something roland just doesnt have.
