Hello! I'm pretty new in this mpc game... I come from the roland sp side looking for a better sequencer and i've found it!
I'm about to buy one of these 1k from a friend of mine and he tells me that from time to time it gets a little hot, i assume akai designed this machines well and that the power supply is built-in for a reason...
I don't mind buying one with a few solvable issues like sub-sensitive pads or something like that, but i'm not finding any info about the power supply, i'm not seeing replacement power supplies for the 1k or anything like that and when i google "mpc 1000 hot" or "mpc 1000 replacement power supply" nothing comes up... please can someone give a little feedfack on this subject? i gotta do this deal fast if i wanna catch the good deal im being offered but if the power supply ain't replaceable i gotta think twice about the deal because in my country there's not any akai specialist... theres just a few dudes like me trying to produce and everything is bought from outside the country....
Thanx in advance, hope someone can help me!
