Backwards compatible?

heyy, couldnt really find this with the search function so put down you guns.

So heres the deal, i might be swapping my 1k to a 2xl w EB16 soon because i miss stuff.

But i have been making some really wicked beats on my 1k also which i dont want to lose so my question issss

Can i use my 1k .PGM and .ALL files in a 2000xl?

and now with the very satisfying supprise that the 1k can have a harddrive...

hard to decide.. maybe theyll add delay and zone...

maybe they will drop the 2xl soon and add its features to th 1k... i wish

I miss zone, auto cromatic mapping, delay, timestretch, flipscreen and the grey color.

SEQ MIDI and PGM files are Backwards and Forwards compatible...not ALL and APS.

i stand corrected. ^^^what penfold said is correct but when using PGM from the 1000 to the 2000/XL, only pad assign is loaded. Other edit parameters are ignored
