Tired of hitting your pads?
Just found out this awesome thing! I found out that you can make the mpc trigger a sound when you make a sound with your mouth. You can make some crazyass rhythm's this way. As for example if you go "Brrrrr" in the microphone, the sample goes brrrr. You can actually record this in to a sequence. Nice for drum rolls etc.
Here's what you do.
1. Take a microphone
2. Plug it in to your mixer or preamp to get the signal strength up.
3. Take a cable from the preamp and plug it in to the foot switch jack 1 or 2 in your mpc.
4. Press "mode" and "Pad 10" and go to "other" then select so that foot-switch 1 is to react on for example pad 13 where you have your sample that you want to trigger with your voice.
Press REC and voila!
