Hey everyone, As you know, the mpc doesnt have the time stretch feature so I was wondering if I could use ACID. However, i'm not too familiar with software so how would I time stretch a sample to fit my drums on ACID?

ive never really timestretched in the two or soe years ive been making beats... but sometimes i think it might be useful.

i gather the general idea would be:
- Time the length of 4 bars (or however long your sample is...)
- Timestretch to that length
- import to 1k and let musical hijinks ensue.

is this correct? do you just use like a stopwatch to find out how long to timestretch to?

Yes sir.

Acid is specifically made for phrase/loop editing, SF is
not, but I STILL prefer SF8.
