MPC1000 OS 2.0 vs MPC2500...

It seems like with the OS 2.0, the MPC1000 seems to have almost all the functions of the MPC2500 minus the 4 MIDI outs...Why would anyone spend extra $1000 for the MPC2500? In fact, I had the MPC2500 and I returned it to get a Fantom X6...I had problems with static on the right channel on the MPC2500 ( I posted the problem on the MPC2500 forum, but I received no help)...and now for the same price...I get sequencer, synth, sampler, etc. on the Fanton X6...and I'm back using the MPC1000 for beats...As of right now, I feel once the MPC1000's OS is updated to V2.0, I don't see any reason to get the MPC2500...

its kinda crazy i mean yeah the 2500 is dope but it isnt something revolutionary so i agree with the not being able to pay 2000 bucks for it. i would much rather get a keyboard also. the 1000 with the version 2.0 will be dope but it will be just dope. its going to make it a "better" machine. a done to death phrase but "if you cant make beats with the 1.07, your better of selling your mpc and doing something else than complaining about the date of the 2.0" yeah im on who was complaining and shit and yes i seriously dont care because im hardly using my mpc nowadays. ive been on the scratching and battling tip lately. but gyeah the mpc2500 is nice but not 2000$ nice

Personaly i decided not to buy the 2500 because of OS2 for the 1000...

soon somebody will come alone and put akaipro balls to the wall,maybe apple,sony, m-audio,have a secrect weapon coming,trust me something coming,akai is not looking good right know, first they leak the os for the mpc 1000 and everybody waiting like crazy but its look like its never coming,know i got my harddrive and try to order hd10 kit and its on back order dec-jan,man this is crazy why they cant get it together,somebody will come alone and give akaipro a blackeye
