What would you pay for an MPC 1000-BK?

What is the most you would be willing to pay for an MPC 1000-BK (which does include OS 2.0 and 128 MB of memory) delivered to your door this week?

i seriously doubt anyone here that owns a 1k would want to buy another when os 2.0 will be available for free.

No..I am really not thinking about hustling any of them..but I did think getting one for myself..just because...

Yeah, the new OS will be available one day....but I believe there are some here that may sell their blue MPCs for the black ones due to some of the comments about changing face plates, buttons, etc.

I am just curious of what you place on the value of the new and improved MPC 1000.

i'd buy one for 200 dollars because i wouldnt' be able to resist the good deal

blue or black... it's still the same machine. the black housing kit will be available soon, so if that kit is reasonably priced, i might consider it.... maybe. i don't plan on dumping any money into my mpc, as far as the hdm-10 and a toshiba hard drive is concerned (only to have access to 2gb at the moment) until the new os is released. but anyway, to answer your question... if i didn't own an mpc and wanted the new black 1k, i'd place the value at no more than $999.99.

Nothing official as of yet. Sparq had previously mentioned that the housing kit will be available, but there's no official release date as of yet, as well as the new OS. Having the black housing kit would be nice, but it's not a neccesity. For me, it's just a cosmetic overhaul, like buying a new set of rims for my car. The same can be said about those who buy different colored replacement pads for the 2500. It's nice to have the option to customize our possesions to give it that personal touch. But when those options aren't available yet, it's not a big deal to me. I have no problem waiting for that housing kit.

Many things will be available..one day....

just got an email back from musician's friend. they said they can special order the 1000 bk now, but that takes 6-8 weeks.

Pretty Much!!

However, there are a lot of people coming through that do not have an MPC that are waiting for this hot newness to drop. I'm sure if THEY have the option to get a Black MPC 1000 they would jump at it.

I ain't jumping like the others. I already got the machine, already got the HDM-10, just waiting for the OS to drop and I'm str8.
