When i Starts The MPC it Show's Me 16MB Installed What Does It Means .......

I got a 256MB CF Card of Sandisk

DELL Memory ( Altohugh I believe it may be Kingston with a DELL sticker ) ... same specs. Works perfectly.

You need 256mb RAM<< to increase your sample time.

The 16mb you see when booting up is the stock 16mb RAM.

The CF Card is only for loading and/or saving your sounds, drums, samples etc.

Ok well i have 2 brand new Apacer 256MEG RAM chips not work , i dont know if they just shi,t RAM or if the brand is not compatable ,, all the spects are identical to recomended ram 144 pin 256 SODIMM CL3 but it fails on the loader screen ,, and that is 2nd one i tried so if anyone has tried this RAM and got it working let us know otherwise ,DONT BUY APACER RAM

i just copped Infineon with the following specs

when i get it i'll let yall know if it works.

some cats have said only the 32MX64 is the only one that works. hopefully you got that as well.

thanx sparq i just saw the video so im gonna do it the way you showed me on the video...i was doing that ish all wrong....lol.....Please get at me and tell me if that ram i bought is good enough for it.....thanx alot again
