New OS Date

Hi, this is my first post on your fine, fine site. Indeed this update sounds most excellent. hate to throw a newbie question in the middle of this thread, but if one of you gents would be so kind... I JUST bought an MPC1k and it wont sync very well to my cubase...(good grooves on the MPC sound hopeless when playing back in "sync" . so I want to update it to v1.07 in the hopes that this will help.. I've downloaded it from the website...but, how the hell do i get this onto my machine...(...ignores the sounds of tittering...)

sorry if it seems like a stupid question, but man, this machine is so great, if I could just sync it with the rest of my music, Im pretty sure i could take over the world.... and that would be nice.

now THIS is the way to get away with asking a newbie question...by being polite, eloquent and NICE.

new kids should take notes...nothing sets a post aflame like a poorly worded newbie question. this guy has talent.

i dont even think we had an official date to begin with. so getting it pushed back 2 months doesn't mean anything at this time. wait a couple days for akai to announce it at a confrence early november.

Everytime i mentioned 2 weeks, 2 weeks, that was just off of tentative dates given to me. i also mentioned in numerous posts, that i do not have an exact date. so i don't where that "...another 2 months" came from.
