ya i even checkd the japan calendar its the 3rd there to .weird isnt it cause its the 3rd here on the east side of the usa. so maybe its tomarrow that itll get released? u know be **** up if say we dont get the update cause there isnt a webmaster for the akaipro.com site to update it and post the link to the os update lololol that just be wrong

will it be downloadable for free off the akai proffesional website when it comes out? and would it be easy to update? thanks for all this new OS news by the way best news ive heard this year probably. other than the nhl returning of course

yes it will be downloadable for free apparently.
the japan site will usually have it up earlier than the us site, so its best to usually check the japan site first.
.
and the akai site has instructions on how to update the os as well, so just check it there.

YES v2.0 is a free downloadable update from akai's website. you would update this just the same as you update any other mpc1k OS update.
