Hi folks,
I've been searching this forum and haven't found a definitive answer on this yet, so I thought I'd post this question myself.
I'm a guitar/bass player in a band with no drummer, using the MPC to play beats via sequences. Normally I program 1 sequence with many tracks and then use the Mute Track screen to add/remove parts, during our songs. I prefer this method to programming a full song with many sequences because it allow us to improvise a bit. The problem of course is that it requires me to stop playing my instrument. Is anyone using a MIDI foot pedal or controller to mute tracks during sequence playback?
Cheers.
