will the cold of winter damage my mpc?

i recently have become thoroughly stricken with taking my mpc with me virtually everywhere - including classes and to my cafe....however, it's slowly getting colder every day - will eventually the coldness of the virginia air in winter time injure my mpc while carrying it to and from my classes and cafe?????????

Just give it some time if you go from a cold into a warm environment
to avoid condensation on the mainboard etc. and you should be fine

Last time i went with a long distance train i plugged in my mpc, that was sweet

When I bought my MPC last christmas the contrast of the screen was changing by it self. Every time I would turn it on the contrast would be brighter and get darker as it started to warm up. I think this is because of the weather. This still happens occasionally.
