Whats up everyone, i hope ya`ll dont think im a dick for posting my first post in the mpc 1000 instead of the newbie section, but i just got my first mpc 1000 for my 18th birthday i bought it myself for 600 dollors. I have been into collecting records for 5 years not for making beats but to know where all my favorite hip hop artist get their music from, so over the years i learned to make music from recording, to mixing, and producing. So i would just like to introduce myself and say hello, and i am looking forward to this 2.0 update( just the luck for me buying it just weeks before its released;-) i know a few things so far. But i am amped up.

welcome aboard man. you ain't being a richard for introducn yourself. just don't post newbie ?s before using the search feature or reading the manual. you joinin in at just the right time with 2.0 right under our noses, the 1k threads about to get dirty.

yea i read the 64 page thread already, i am that dedicated. i just dont like when people ask "stupid questions" i like to call them lazy questions becasue they are not commited to finding out and getting the info they just assume they are going to have the answers handed to them, but enough of my ranting. i feel welcome and loved already i im lovin' it like a McDonalds 6 piece chicken meal.

May your stay be a interesting and creative one, as long as your a person who can think outside the box, meaning for himself then you will be fine.

Feel free to ask crazy questions though, providing you have thought it through and cant get any help elsewhere. You will also find alot of ideas you think of has already been thought of, so dont get upset when someone flames u for posting an idea with us...atleast you got them !

Thanks for the love everyone, Yes i am a male. I am from LA currently staying in san diego which is 2 hours south of los angeles in california.

ohh besides the akai pro website, is the expansion adapter the HDM10 i believe are they going to ship it to retail stores? or is it going to be a shipping only proccess? i cant see to find the answer to my question maybe i missed it in the 67 pages of the forum i have read it alll yesderday but im a little lost on how they are planning to deliever the new OS fast and reliable to 1k customers. I know the OS is website updatable, i have updated it serveral times. BUt what about the adapter? i just got the hardrive today so im amped up ya`ll PUMP THAT ISH UP!
