Figured out why some of the fl studio wav samples don't work on my 1k. They are all wav files, but when i looked at the properties summary on my computer, the ones that work are audio format pcm, the ones that don't work are audio format ogg vorbis 2, does anyone know a program that can convert the audio format, what's confusing me is there all wav files, how do you convert without changing that?

I use cool edit 2000. Are all the wav programs pretty much equal depending on taste or is soundforge much better?

Get them all, install and use for yourself to see which fits your style of work best.

That's one of those things u need to do for self.

yeah the samples are 44.1 khz and 16 bit, but how do you use audacity to do this, i messed with it but no luck, the trick is that they are wav files, but the audio formats are different, and with audacity i see export to ogg vorbis, or mp3 or wav etc. but what do you do when its a wav file and ogg vorbis at the same time, sh*t i always thought it had to be one or the other?
