for sub sound you could take any bass sound and use the mpc lowpas with a bit high resonance to keep and boost the sub. (the bandpass can also work for that)
or a really low and weak bassdrum and fiddle with the attack amp envellope.
or sample a synth (a simple sin will do, or a tri with a low pass on it).
if you don't have any synth there are loads of freeware softsynth available (i am not using them so cannot recommand any)

sitar is gonna be damaged for sure. it's actually one of tutor's, i found out - i started deleting it a while ago and must have closed my ftp pgm while deleting
