Advantage of Hard Drive?

Whats the advantage of installing the Hard Drive and kit for the 1000? Is it just a substitute for the Flash Memory only permanent?

it will allow the user to lose many many more samples. I, for one, cannot wait! I have a 512mb CF card and can only lose hundreds...now, I'll be able to make THOUSANDS disappear!

the main advantage of the HD is yo: 80 gigs is bigger than all the great hiphop albums of all time.

take me: I have a 30gig toshiba drive I may try and put in there, which is WHOA 30gigs is so many drums for the whiBIck boom crack sssslap

all joking aside, what's the disadvantage? the hard drive is not a substitute for the CF card. its just to give you more saving and storage options.

So can I load all my Songs/Sequences on the Hard Drive then?

What kind of HD does it take? Standard IDE, SCSI, laptop?

Talking about advantages,
is there a difference in loading time ?
Did somebody make a few tests ?
Like loading the same Autoload folder from CF and HD ?

Does the MPC boots up faster with an HD ?

I think my mpc looks good. or else I would not of posted a picture of it.

I assume bobby thought I was making fun of him - I just thought what he said was funny.
