i've watched the tutorial videos, ran a search on this forum and read the manual. to all the anal people here, please be easy with me. i'm a newbie.
i'm working with the new operating system. trying to sample an old motown record.
once i have the sample in, and chopped so that the start and finish is set up how i want, how do i time stretch so that it fits into the two bar loop i'm working on?
i've tried using the detect tempo thing, but that always seems to come back saying that the original tempo is 140 odd, which it seems obvious it isn't.
i feel like i'm missing a really obvious method. i know this should be so easy and straight forward.
i'd really appreciate some instructions as to how to time stretch the sample to fit into the loop i'm working in.
thanks a lot.
