Start Anew

After updating to v2.1, I also have had some of the same problems people have mentioned in the pains section. But as Sparq has stated on more than one occasion v2.1, basically makes the 1k a new machine, so my advice is to treat it as such, don't worry about getting your v1.07 projects to be the same on v2.1. Pretend the v2.1 1k is a brand new machine and you need to just start from scratch, because i have had no problems, when sampling and sequencing anew with v2.1 in fact i find the process more enjoyable w/ all the new features.

but everyone that is having trouble with thier old projects should not be told to start from scratch.

I remade a beat that I had completely from scratch. I actually got happier with the new result.

oldies is pretty tight.

i must admit thats what im doing im going forward if something old gets snatched up ill just load and adjust

me too, i've only had my mpc for about 6 months, so it's not a big deal to start fresh, with the exception a few of of my favorite drum bitz...
infact it's kinda nice.
out with the old in with the new.
although i suppose i might want to load up some old project to record sometime.
i'm really diggin the new os!

I've been having some ball-ache tonight with my old projects. But if they were that good I should have 'finished' them and recorded em down. Instead I'm reworking it in the new OS.

Can't complain

ive been having some problems too... but only the same old problem ive always had... human error.

ill go in, make a beat, save it and everything. turn off. then the next day ill realize i forgot to change the program name... so i have to remake ALL the programs in the beat... and all the effects etc... i cant usually remember it, and i HATE remaking beats... so i just give up. grrrrrrrrrrrrr..

but anyway back to problems with the new os.. i havent had any.
