will the option to save/load from the hd (which comes up first, to my great annoyance) vanish from the load/save screen?

Mr modnaR wrote:well seeing as you're stooping to such low levels of cussing, here's a picture of a worm:
it's called a nematode.
here's another picture, this time of a different kind of worm:
this one's called a Nymatode.
See what i did there? i called you a worm.laugh at the worm people, laugh all you want. ah ha ha ha ha haaaaaa!
hmm, is there a beef between Mr modnaR and Antonym that I missed?
anyhoo, i have no idea whether removing the cf drive will remove the option on the load save screen, but i'm pretty sure that it won't f*ck your mpc up if you just unplug it, and then boot it up. so, in conclusion: try it and see.

i don't think i understand your ? but maybe this will help. if you want either the cf or hd to be the default on the save to/load from page just set the desired disc to autoload. i guess you're asking something different though because the CF always came up first for me until i made an autoload folder on my HD. and i don't see how taking out the CF would make the HD option dissapear so ignore everything you just read if it does not apply. Very Happy
