the problem is my flash card is nearly full and i wana know is it safe to just drag my beat folders into my laptop and store them there until i need to werk on them and then i could just drag them back onto my flash card .

Does anyone use this method? I just wana be 100% sure im not gonna put a months worth of beats down the drain u know wat im sayin.. Any help would be appreciatted, also i know some cats hook up external drives n shit, wat method do u guys find effective for storing alot of samples.

penny dimes. do that man - It wont hurt anything at all

transferring files will not hurt the files themselves.


I do not use the mpc 1k hd

I use somethat the same method.

transfering the "beat folders" is the reason why we use the USB. not only for dragging samples back and forth.

and we don't use "external drives" with the 1k. it's internal.
