Hey all,
I had to sell my 2000XL a few months ago to fund a car repair. If I had $8-900 layin around for a fully loaded XL I would have done that, but since I didnt, I did the 15 month no payments thing at Guitar Center. Even though I had read about the pads bein crummy and breaking on the 1000, I decided to buy one anyways thinking that the black "2.0" 1000's were less likely to have that problem. I was wrong
Low and behold with about 5 hours of playtime under it's belt, poor pad #16 would only play full velocity with "full level" turned on. I was really gentle with it too. I didn't even bother having them exchange it, I'll take it as a sign that I'm not supposed to own a 1000. Too bad too, I really liked it except for the lack of autochromatic assignment, but I was plannin on loading the JJ OS to get that back!
