Hi all. I'm new to the board and I did a couple searches and couldn't find any relevant answers, so if you are familiar with my plight, feel free to chime in. I just got an MPC 2000XL and love using it. I would prefer to do all of my sampling, drums, bass, and sequencing on it using sounds from sampling and loaded WAV files. However, I also want to be able to transfer that exact audio into Logic to do more mixing by using an audio interface and I can't quite seem to figure it out.
For example, if i created a song in my MPC with all of my linked sequences, I want to transfer all of those sounds, programs, sequences, etc. exactly as they are from the output of my MPC to my computer.
Now what I have done so far is hook up the output with an RCA cable (and phono converters) into RCA inputs on an audio interface called the TASCAM US-144. I know the interface is receiving the sounds but I just cannot seem to figure out how to get those sounds from my interface to my computer. It is hooked up through USB. Can anyone help so that I would be able to record into Logic? Thanks in advance.
