hellouha there
I am a proud owner of 2 roland sp808´s, and really love(d) them for my 2-man bands purpose. Now these machines get old and buggy, so we bought a roland sp606.
but actually .. we´re shocked! It doesnt meet up our expectations at all.
What we do is the following: i use 2 machines, with both having the similar content. Each bank has 16 samples .. we have about 30 banks all in all. I then just loop these samples .. and combine them. so i dont need any sequencing features.
therefor my questions regarding the mpc 1000 (i searched the web and also these forums here, but didnt find the answers):
- is there something like "padbanks" (samplebanks) in the mpc? And if so: how many are there?
- can i loop these samples .. is there something like a "hold" button? or "loop" button? to make the samples loop?
thats all for now .. cheers all, and thanks for reading
