Hello, Here's some advice many people forget. Back up your files. I am a new user of a MPC2500 (Akai OS1.22). Today I was working and all of a sudden I got a file error while loading and some other error. If something did load it was jumbled garbage. Everything seemed completley screwed.
I had a backup copy of my older files and copied the recent stuff from my CF card to a new file on my computer's hard drive.
I reformatted the card and copied the backed up files to the card and added the new folders I hoped would work, one at a time checking to see if I had problems. Not everything, just the new stuff since backup. Checking in between would let me know which file was corrupt if it was a new one.
After checking the last one, EVERYTHING worked. nothing was lost!
I do consider myself pretty lucky. Back up your stuff a lot, it may save your butt too.
