With books there is always the actual printing date on the book, so you know easily when it was printed. Apparently with records it is not the case. I have a few records that have a date on them, but they are definitely a minority.
rhino is a reissue label, they get the music from the main album the songs on there should have the artist full name or label on it.
from my experience 64 65 the labels started puttin the date on them more freqently, i have have seen some in the 50's but thats usually 45's or elvis /beatles some big names like that.
and the copyright date iis what you look for for the date, only LIVE records have the actuall date and time it was recorded.
telling it a reissue: well you cant on some but mostly on the older ones you can tell by the cardboard on the insde if it looks grey or brown then it's most likly OG, NNOW to tell if it's a first ress you have to research like a moofucer, i rahter have a 1st - or 2nd press reissue then one that just came out today cause the sound wont be the same. you can also tell by the art work, reissues/rrepress's are not at clean looking as the OG,the best thing i can tell you to get is a record price guild and that you have to research aslo to get a great book...... ican tell you this much tho the good books are expensive.
