UK beat digging

I worked it out on my way to work this morning, its quite simple:

more records made

more records bought

more records appear in charity/thrift shops

dont think we got it too bad in uk...fair enough london is pretty shitty and overpriced but theres other good places...east anglia is pretty good.. found a few rare bits at the bootsales down there when i was down for a few days...
plus we get all the library/soundtracky style funky tunes hidden on the easy listening lps.. and there always cheap when found in charity shops..

i owe paypal so i cant use ebay anyone got a list of places in london i can buy records to sample i wanna do rnb and rap beats get back to me asap

if you dont want to spend more then a fiver on records you probably wanna hit up the charity shops most your spend on a record is £1. Im in SE and I know aout 10 charity shops off the top of my dome they aint hard to find. There also Rat Records in Camberwell theres not much up south your have to go off ends me im to lazy for that I work with what I got!

I think the UK is completely shit for digging. Oxfam completely piss me off how they think that their gonna get a load of Record Collector buying faggots queing up. They think were bloody rich! It's just killed of digging completely. Beginner diggers and diggers on a budget are just slowly being priced out.

I'll always try charity stores if i'm in the area tho, cos you never know, but all you find is shit! I did find some rare bits on a trip to Buxton (years ago), but it's rare i find something i like in a charity shop. All i ever see is James Last, Elvis, Klaus Wunderlich and Glenn Miller. Like Disco Technique said: i'll always support the charity Shops, just not oxfam or cats protection league. I did get a load of Jimi Hendrix records i haven't got for 10p each from a shop in Pontefract, so i can't hate on charity stores.

I seem to be going to a lot of record stores and shopping online (ebay), but shopping online is boring and isn't something i'd do all the time. I don't like car boots either. They full of Del Boys thinking their shit is worth loads just because it's on vinyl (round my area anyways), but theres always some clueless gran with a crate full.
