at this thrift store in the glass case they had an auction for some comic book records. i got a 7" spiderman, superman, metmorphoman, 2 star trek's i bid $8 for all records. a week later i got the call, boy was i relieved. i was worried because i should have bid $20. where i lived at the time i knew the few Dj's in the area where not on the up and up and only shoped at the hiphop shop for the latest hillbilly breaks or dj rectangle etc. and basically no one was producing or hardcore diggin in thrift stores.
these records are rare dope scratch and vocal tidbit records from the 1970's im sure there are very few left because there for kids and there all probably broken or scratched to hell by now and there parents back in the day threw them out after they got ruined. the ones i got were in good condition no skipping or bad popping. plus there 7" you can scratch mad fast with these little gems really good for faster bpm beats.
one ill sample is an anouncer voice saying "i intrupt this program to bring you a special news bulletin. then i drop a sick beat with sample behind it.
