Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

i have the ram already and opened up my mpc 4000 put the @ 256MB ram in the slots but i don't see it on the mpc 4000 any help it's a PC133 ram

It should recognise it automatically.

If it doesn't, either the RAM isn't pushed properly into the slots, or its faulty
(you took static electricity precautions, right?)

yeah but make sure it says KINGSTON and not KINGSTONE if it has that extra E on the end it might be some ol bootleg ass ram. :lol: stay away from that
