how to Change My Ram to 512 MB

i have the ram already and opened up my mpc 4000 put the @ 256MB ram in the slots but i don't see it on the mpc 4000 any help it's a PC133 ram

It should recognise it automatically.

If it doesn't, either the RAM isn't pushed properly into the slots, or its faulty
(you took static electricity precautions, right?)

If its not kingston ram dont even bother with it

I'm thinking about exchanging my current RAM with something else and it's like AWW_NAWW said it would be Kingstone, as I find it to be good one.

yeah but make sure it says KINGSTON and not KINGSTONE if it has that extra E on the end it might be some ol bootleg ass ram. :lol:
