Hello,
I have 2 questions regarding this subject:

1. Is all the music before and right after WW2 in this 432 Hz?

2. I dont understand what you have to do to get samples in 432 HZ. Pitch them 5 cemtitones down? What does that mean? Zone pitch the sample to -00.05?

1. The history dates very far back, ancient cultures (Sumerians, Greek, Egyptian), in India (where one of our the oldest religion comes from (Hinduism) this tone is refereed to as the father of all others and the sitar is tuned to this frequency.

Most classical music by Bach, Brahms and Verdi is composed in 432, but there are compositions that are composed at different tunings (there´s even even a famous classical composition (forget which one) that was intentionally composed at 440 ... of cores people are free to tune their instruments as they like .. so its not like everything is in 432 before WW2 but this had been our standard for 6000 years ..

This standard is the C 512Hz or 256 Hz octave lower or the C at exactly 1 vibration per second, the so-called "ground-tone". This mood is also called "science mood" because this mood conforms scientifically with the universe. The oldest known advocate of this vote is Plato.

Then all of a sudden in the 1900 we tune it to 440 (AND MUSICIANS EVERYWHERE OPPOSED THIS!) but it was forced on by group of power hungry psychopaths...

So its quite ironic to hear brain washed musician oppose this today .. (they have no basis for it other than>> its a nu-age witch!! ... lets burn it!!

Jimmy Hendrix was know to tune his guitar a little lower than the standard 440 (he did it by ear/feel).. and his music not only rocks but has a much fantastic vibe.. compared this vibe with the sound other modern artist..

the 432 is our natural state

2. if the sample is originally in 440 then yes its -00.05 cents confirmed by FunckyDrops but maybe the sample your working with is tuned differently (?)

This is not something holy, I was tuning my 4 OSC modular the other day to 432 and melodic line sounded better with two of the OSC de-tuned a bit higher, the other two OSC´s where set to 432 .. so by all means go by your own instinct and feel... if you feel 440 is doing it for you go with that ...

the remix I´m working on right now I tuned everything down by 00.05 cents ... and I just can´t get over the vibe that little tuning did for the remix.. its dare I say it magical ..

Unlike crypto-reptiloid shills like you, I am proud to be a mammal and drink real milk from a mammary gland.

@Feline please focus on the topic at hand and not silly commentary this is not about frikking milk or labeling me as criptiod and you as mammal... & one mans fungus is another mans spiritual connection,.. you don´t need mushrooms to tell this is real just start composing a few tunes in 432 and see how it goes ..no one is forcing you to do anything, what do you have to lose?

now I can only speak for myself but the stuff that I´ve been doing in 432 has great attraction .. I can listen forever to loops from my modular when tuned to 432... there´s something very right about the feel of it .. its more peaceful and (I dont know what the right word is...) balanced(?) ... you intelligent enough to realize things from an independent state of mind.. so don´t just rub this off as some nu-age bs just because you are who you are... I´m not your enemy.. I´m merely showing you something that imo is of great importance to all musicians... if you just want troll and fight take it to another thread..

And just get simple things like: you might want to tune to 440 to get a certain mood once in a while but why on earth would the world standard be to tune to 440> there is no sense behind that at all! only distortion .. its more stress full and not as pleasant and it takes away 4 overtones .. its like why would you tune a radio with perfect signal connection to a connection where the signal is not as strong? ... take a wild guess....

I thought we agreed earlier 432hz tuning is not about a harmonious ****. but your latest reply seems to indicate that everything made in 432hz would be somehow more harmonious by nature... Which is ironic because that's actually backwards, 432hz would actually carry more inharmonic tendicies due to the fact that the notes are no longer in ratio with one another. 440 wasn't a mass nazi brainwashing thing, it was a way to keep notes aligned at a 1:1 ratio harmonically when tuning/playing. Basically 440 was made not be in tune with Gandhi and the world but it is in tune with itself and that's what matters when playing music.

If you want to say it has to healing power, or there is simply something more physically harmonious with the world etc.. I can't really dispute that I don't really know or care. But to say that detuning your notes somehow makes it more in tune... I'm just suprised considering you used math/numbers for part of your initial argument..

whats the problem bro .. not keeping up with world science lately .. nothing to do with nu-age .. allot more to do with collision of lost knowledge vs modern discoveries and the fact that the fabric you called reality has been greatly manipulated..

got access to a large system, precises high grade tunable OSC and some mushrooms?
uknowy !!
:smoker:

Glide your on point more than you know , don't give pearls to pigs the won't respect it .I Studied the mystei system in Egypt , the temple are instruments I like every thong you said , you sound like them.

Man, the 432 thing is interesting, but seriously, it gets mixed up with so much mumbo jumbo ...... like cats who never learned anything about music outside of the 432 conspiracy. No one knows the tuning of the ancient greeks, egyptians, yada yada. Either new age gurus make shit up, or musicologists examine a piece of pottery and get tenured at the academy for making a 400 page book out of it. We do have Helmholtz's wonderful book on sound science and music. It has tuning charts of many of the great organs in Europe. They were not all tuned to 432, or 440. All over the place, people tuned relative (and all over the place) until we had tuners like we have now. Also, the harmonics will be the same on 432 as 440, just shifted. A pure sine wave will have no harmonics on 432 or 440. A sawtooth wave will produce no less and no more harmonics at any pitch. The only difference is your speakers ability to reproduce all the harmonics. the 20th harmonic will be 8800 at 440 and 8640 at 432. Pretty much all the harmonics other than the octaves and fifths will be out of tune anyway with our equal tempered system, and no, changing the reference pitch (A=432) does not all the sudden make the scale none equal tempered. Unless you program a user scale based on pure ratios (pythagoras) that 11nth harmonic is going to be hairy and clash hard against the even tempered note. Also, Hendrix did tune down, not some spacey 440 -432, but he tuned down a half step to eb. He was also often very out of tune with his bending and playing live and was luck to have his guitar completely in tune for a whole song, forget about 432... he is most definitely not an example of someone who could zero on an exact tone as 432. Nor did he need to, it was blues based, like jazz, like hip hop. The tuning can bend and fluctuate with the emotion as long as the rhythm is tight.
