sup, just had a jam and worked it out, well maybe,
tilt velocity is a way of changing the way the 4k reacts to velocity, capable of reversing the way it works!
u can set it so hardest velocity u can play(127), will play the sample at 0velocity,and the lowest(0) velocity u can play will play the sample at 127velocity.
ie if u set, tilt velo >>>>>amplitude depth -100 the harder u play the duller it gets. so if u play 100 velocity on the pads the 4k will play the sample at 27 velocity.......ya get me?
when u set the depth to +0 , +100, velocity reacts as normal, but at +100 the 4k is less sensitive to velocity when playing, with lower vels not triggering samples.
so its like your making the velocity slope/envlope work backwards in minus depth,
and your adusting the slope/envs of the velocity response, therefore needing higher velocitys tigger the sample..........
try it with cuttoff and other combos, im gonna get back on that ish
